Variation to Norton

Question

+dave164

I currently have Norton 2003 but i just uninstalled it cos it went wacky. I restarted and noticed the great increase in start-up time without it.

So that got my thinking, what is a good program like norton, which doesnt have as many running processes, but has the same security?

So any surgestions on good *preferably freeware* anti-virus solutions?
