MajorSham
I've been leaving my computer on most of the time since I migrated to Windows 2000. Of course I now run XP. I leave my system running 24/7, but due to one reason or another, the longest sustained uptime I've gotten was a week. I leave my system on for two reasons. I don't want to wait for it to boot, and I'm running a distributed processing client on it. I turn my monitor off when not using my PC though. People say they turn the computer off to save money, but how much are you actually saving? Do you honestly know, how many watts of electricity you PC consumes while running? I don't believe it to be all that much, and I can certainly afford to pay my power bill, so I just leave it on.
Aragorn
No, its in my room and the fan annoys the heck out of me at night. I've tried to. :) But my computers in the other room stay on most of the time.
