[blocking] webpages

Is there a way I can block a webpage completely from a computer? I mean password protected whatever... just let me know

yea in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

add a line like this in the HOSTS file

127.0.0.1 ads.doubleclick.net

keep the ip to 127.0.0.1 and just change the domain name to the site you want to block
