snigglert
Camel has 3000 bananas. Camel is 1000 miles away from the market. Camel eats 1 banana every mile it travels. Camel cannot carry more than 1000 bananas at a time. Camel must have enough bananas after selling them at the market to make it back home. Camel can leave piles of bananas on the way to the market. Example: The camel has 1000 bananas. He walks 250 miles and drops off 500 bananas and walks back. He picks up more.... What is the greatest amount of bananas the camel can sell at the market? twist
umm 0? he needs at least 2000 to even make it there and back.

snigglert
Remember: The camel only has to eat 999 bananas to actually get to the market. The camel can also leave piles of bananas on the way to the market to use for the trip there and/or back. If the market is 1000 miles away, the camel does not have to eat the 1000th banana and travel the 1000th mile. He is already at the market after 999. It would have to be 1000 miles away, 1 banana per mile = 1000 bananas. That's why I got 500 bananas in the end as my answer.
nemo
none... cause he gets hungry and eats all the banana's no matter what... that's the answer.. cause i said so :D

Therefore, with 1000 banana's (max) he can only travel 500 miles (there and back)
snigglert
It may be retarted or I was looking at the question a little too hard. ;) The answer is here...
DeathLace
ya I did what that answer said. Go a certain distance, drop off bananas, go back, repeat slowly along and do it a bunch of times till at the very end you go for the market and sell what you collect on the way :p The only thing I did differently was I didn't use 1/3 bananas because that's jut ****ing gay. And if you only use WHOLE bananas, the camel must move at 250 distance at the beginning, not 200 like the answer says. Making him have 500 at the end.
