Hehehe........Do you guys download everything you see out there??

I mean...I?m on a T3 connection, and could get a huge amount of gigs every day.......but I only download stuff that I really need...And since I don?t play computer games, it aint all that much. Maybe a movie or two every month from usenet or dc.

Yahoka whom do you buy news service from? @home's is getting slower these days.

We have an @home connection which I believe is @128/1024 by the book, it performs more like 128/1500+ sometimes and with the ssh connection between 2 houses and the donkey/news connections running most of the time we probably download almost 30 gigs per month. I don't believe we can actually check the stats on an @home account can anyone correct me?

http://www.newscene.com OR http://www.easynews.com

Easynews has good payment plans (pay in 6GB chunks, used in a maximum of 30 days) and you see many, many experienced users with them, but i am perfectly happy with newscene (i believe they have multiple T3 lines, in north eastern US) and download off them at ~300K/s or ~150K/s when its busy (5 - 9 PM EST). They hold binaries for up to 7 days, and have 2 servers. Also, rarely loose parts of posts...
