edonkey vote :)

Ok i'm really sick of edonkey !! i'd like to understand why everybody uses it , it's slow , downloads are corrupted , it's slow to connect !!

i update my servers list , try every tweak possible and all i have is 4 - 10 kb max !!

this prog sucks , why not using kazaa ! i think that if everybody was moving there divx and such things to it there would be more to find there !

Why ?:rambo:

edonkey rules !!!

i'm not sure if you wondered why so many people use edonkey. i donno it either. but i know why i use it and how i use it. edonkey like kazaa and morpheus and other p2p programs transfer tons of fake and corrupted material. but what edonkey has and the other progs don't is sites like the sharereactor and filenexus...and there are more of those (hint: check my sig).

the other thing is the stuff you wanna download. if you search rare stuff you'll find yourself stuck @ 10kbyte a sec. that sucks, i know, i've been there. and this is simply the price you'll have to pay to get it. if you think that other progs have better download speeds and you'll be able to download the same rare files from them, then why did you use edonkey in the first place ?

it's kinda frustrating sometimes, i must give you that, to see that your download is not bigger than your upload. but that is not the way it works for the rest of the 99% of the users. and remember, tweaks are no answer for your problem. the donkey itself isn't either.

Edonkey is good if have utils like ED2kutils installed. It is different from other File SHaring networks cuz you cant get things like a 700 MB version of Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 on Kazaa or XoloX. You get it here and even if its slow its always downloading an accessible. if someone has a problem like not connecting and even not gettnig a message called Placed in connection Queue then go into ED2k options, then click on Proxy, sometimes the proxy says HTTP, it should say NONE, then it will connect and use Ed2kUtils server extraction to update servers. simple
