neo1980
ive heard a lot about it, but where is a good place to download Ogg Vorbis Based songs
Dazzla Veteran Posted May 2, 2002 Veteran Share Posted May 2, 2002 You probably won't find many songs available for download as Ogg format. The main ways of obtaining Ogg files are either ripping them from CD as Ogg or converting MP3's to Ogg.
SOOPAH256
how much more compressed is the Ogg format compared to the MP3 standard? and is the quality really that much better? (is it noticable to the human ear? or do you need to blast up the music hella loud to hear the difference?) :p :p :p :p :p
username
based on severial reviews that i have read, MP3 is still the best acchive format @ 192kbps and above. Howerver, if you rip your CDs to 128kbps MP3, then go with OGG http://www.vorbis.com/
