New shoes

My shoes suck.

Well, they used to be cool anyway. Osiris D3s. Not bad. They looked sweet, anyway. But they're old, too small, falling apart, and they suck. I need new shoes, but I don't know anything about shoes. What are some good brands/styles? I really need something that looks cool, and is great quality. It'd be nice if they had some sort of athletic use, since I'd rather not have to buy a second pair for gym use... So, athletic, attractive, quality. Any tips?

This is probably a stupid question here. Most of y'all probably sit at yer desks all day in bare feet or socks. -_- But there might be one or two skaters or gym monkeys in here. Thanks in advance.

i quit skating recently, skated a long period of my life, sponsered by a local skate shop, but because of broken wrists, fingers, feet[twice], collar bone, etc. i had enough of it. anyway, my favorite 2 shoes will always be the original emerica ed templetons, and the original andrew reynolds.

cant find pics of the original templetons, but heres the reynolds, follwed by templeton 2's

I'm running in a pair of DC Spectre's at the moment. One of the most comfy pairs of skate shoes i've had for a while but they're a bit chunky so arent exactly perfect for gym use... but for a pair of skate shoes and just kicking about in they're great.

The Silky Smooth Mid is a great all around basketball shoe. It features a dual-density midsole with the Duraspring insert, a high abrasion rubber outsole and full grain leather upper with injection molded heel and toe.

This is a basketball shoe with a covered lacing system. It features leather uppers and a durable rubber outsole. This is a terrific shoe for a variety of players.

Good quality, last a long time, and very comfortable! The three factors that make up a good shoe!

K, due to a recent argument with a Vans-enthusiast (I hate Vans for some reason--they feel like the Gap Kids of footwear), I've refined my requirements a bit...

Sexy is important, and so's quality. I was looking at some of the DCs, they look good...but do they last? My D3s have lasted four years now, and they're pretty much dead. I need something that's pretty much good no matter where I wear them. I might eventually buy a second pair for other uses, but for now I need something good and versatile. I also like 'em big. Big shoes are the best. Not boots, but not tiny. Big enough to scare small animals and stuff.

Anyway, back to shopping around... es? What kind of a brand name is that? *mumbles*

I'm so very last century. I haven't wore a sneaker in over 10 years...still buy a new pair of Doc Martens every three months...

...sandals, boots, shoes...they go with anything, and they're comfortable.
