Neztea
Hey, what about the Canadians who participated in WW1, well, even though we were forced to war because of great britian, but we Canadians did alot of **** in that war, such as the war of vimmy ridge ( i think that was ww1) anyways, war is awful, people died because of the chlorine gas, people choked on their own blood because of it, and i read in a poem that when the chlorine gas bomb's dropped, you couldn't hear it, it was like a very very quiet "plop" and if you didn't put your mask on in time, you would die. and aslo the trenches were all covered with mud, with bodies stacked up as walls, and rats and leeches, and just the sound of bullets fly by and more bombs, it was just awful, and the barb wire and machine guns just going on and on and on....... i hope that helps ya :)

Silvorgold
my grandpa was in WWII (he died like 30 years ago tho) and he volunteered to be an engineer in the war n his assignment was to help build roads n stuff (n bridges) in the part of europe that the famous ww2 movie "a bridge 2 far"took place in, n that area of europe is where one of the most famous battles of ww2 took place n just to think he helped build the roads n stuff for the allieds there (canadians, brits, australians, americans, etc)
