I was kinda thinking the same. Surely you could come up with a better topic of debate than this? Besides, it has been done to death...amd vs intel, win vs mac, linux vs windows.... bert vs ernie, well no..but you get my point...

50/50 at the time of writing, not quite the result you were expecting.

All the fanatical, Bill-Gates-lovin', Windows users will crawl out soon and make it an overwhelming victory to boost their incredibly low morales...

It was just an argument with my friend and i thought you guys could silence this once and for all.

lol, you've gotta be kidding. This is almost religion for some fanatics. This arguement will never die down and will never be resolved. Even when they are both dead...

which is better != which do you prefer

OS is such huge peace of software that asking which is better is plain RETARDED.

this thread can be easily considered as trolling.

i'm sorry but this is a stupid post like there is really no point in this cause you can't use a Mac OS just by its self on a Windows PC and you can't use a Windows OS on a Mac by its self. so you can't really say what better unless you can try it out on different platforms and do benchmarks and such.

(sorry i'm real tired so i don't know what i'm saying right now)

Windows, I'm just more comfortable and more used to using it.

Damn, every time I see a mods name in my notification email, I'm hoping you have locked/deleted this thread...

Not saying that my response was an A grade essay, but if people would just state why they prefer one OS, then this thread would be fine. :)

yeah I understand, but it's like me starting another "What's your age?" thread. We've all been there done that.

Maybe I'll start a "Who do you prefer: Bill Gates or Steve Jobs?" thread :ponder: :cheeky:

I had some bad experiences .. with my computer teacher back in school.. that fervently attempted to Mac-ize all of us. Turned me off the Mac ever since... that and the fact that was around 5 years back.. the round mouse of the iMac and ..

MacOS (dunnoe which version ) crashing upon startup....

But having said that.. pity OS/2 and BeOS died out.. they were pretty solid pieces of work... I remember spending tens of hours training OS/2's voice recognition back in '95 -'96..

Of course I now use Windows.. and some Linux...
