No, you're not alone, I just failed my OAC calculus exam, but that was because I started the course over 1.5 years ago, and things were less than Ziplock fresh in my brain.

Most people I know in University (Trent in Peterborough, and one or two at Concordia and McGill) aren't as smart as you'd think. They just kind of blindly get through the semester and have no idea how they passed. If you can manage to struggle through highschool, you'll probably have to struggle through University too, but you'll make it.

??lim?????B.Sc = B.A.

well first of all i would stop wasting time and give math.com a visit and check out their lessons and take their quizzes.. start from the basics, thats where the stuff usually goes wrong. And if you lose any steps from the foundation blocks, don't expect to go any further. Make sure you understand one subject before you go on to the other and you should be okay.. Just always try to keep a positive attitude. If you think of the ways you CAN't do something, you probably won't be able to do it. So always positive.

Just try to stay calm, don't stress out, get good sleep, listen to the professor. Then trust me, you will be fine...

Just give it your best, that is the whole point of life man...

Always try your best ;)

I wish you good luck

I'm only a freshman in High School doing P/S Geometry, but it isn't too hard. I have like a 96 this semester. I guess it just depends on the person.

I can recommend that you try a program I got from my Aunt. It's called AlgePass and its made by Glencoe. Currently, I'm not sure where you can get it, but if all else fails I can send it to ya through e-mail! Good luck!

:D

Well I dont know how your HS system works in America but doo woop sheddy bop bop?

Why Stress about Alegebra. I never use to get it either, I sat down with my textbook one day determined to grasp the concept of it, after 3.5 hrs it just started to unravel itself to me, and now I can do the basics etc, nothing too advanced but I managed to pass Maths and get a 74% mark in maths so surely Alegbra doesnt count to too much over there either

Ensure you understand the basics as concepts, if you don't have a steady grasp at discrete math, you are setting yourself up for failure. The rest is just an evolution of those concepts. Believe me, applying yourself will get you through (It has for me - Sophomore in High School @ pre-calculus)

American math in high school is quiet a bit easier than it is in Canada.... Maths are the only thing that our province (can't speak for others) really is advanced in..

There are math courses that we are taking that are equivelant to 2nd year in most american universities.. but don't count for squat locally.

ah well

me and math had somewhat of a falling out...repeatedly. now we dont speak to each other anymore. great system we worked out, i dont count or use math that much and in return, math dont bother me anymore, been going strong this way for about 2 years now.
