PIII@866Mhz system for sale (cheap, negotiable price)

Recommended Posts

I'm selling my system because I need some more money in my budget for a new system that I'm buying.

Specs are:

PIII 866 Mhz

320 megs of SDRAM @ 133Mhz

Intel mobo with on-board video, if you want the specific model please ask

Diamond soundcard with Aureal chipset

ATI Radeon 32 SDR

Quantum 14 gig HD (quiet)

Screw-less Gateway case with PSU

Good ol' retro floppy drive

Front panel contains 2 USB ports and additional slot for firewire, back panel contains your standard LPT1, serial ports, etc as well as another 2 USB ports. All components are in perfect working order. Runs Windows XP beautifully, runs Max Payne @ 1024x768 @ 16-bit fine (slow-down occurs only in huge enviroments). Includes Windows Me and Microsoft Works 2000 genuine licence, I'm happy to pre-install any other OS though.

I'm looking at about $550 AUD for the machine, but I'm perfectly happy to go down. Also, I'm happy to throw something in with it if it will convince you to buy (eg. more hardware, anything really).

I live in Bundoora, Victoria, Australia. I'd prefer to drive over to deliver the PC and I'm not keen on shipping it around, but I'm willing to if need be.

Also, any feedback would be appreciated regardless if you are interested in buying or not on the price, too low, too high? And remember, this is australian dollars, not american.

Cheers! :D

P.S. Did I mention I'm desperate to sell? :p

Well, 550AUD is only around 300USD, so. . you may as well let some of my fellow countrymen make that mistake. They'll be happy when they find out that the price is less than they intended to pay. Or, you could stiff them and let them pay 550USD. :D Oh wait, this post kinda ruins that, doesn't it?

LOL. :p

This is the kind of feedback I want, actually, since I didn't really pin Neowin as the place I'd sell it, although if I do, great! I'm expecting to make the sale in the trading post. So, hm.. $550 AUD is cheap, good, more money.. $800 AUD might do it then.
