Good beers / bitters etc:

Carling Premier, Miller Genuine Draft, Michelob, Stella Artois, Lowenbrau, the *original* Budweiser Budvar, Castlemaine XXXX, Staropramen, Bass, Worthington's, Carling, Carlsberg, Kronenberg 1884 ( ? ), Guinness, Caffreys, Boddingtons, Kilkennys, Cobra, Kingfisher.... to name but a few.

Bad beers:

P155 weak, zero-flavoured, low in alcohol, "easy drinking", all too carbonated generally crap beer. You know the ones I mean

Imports:

1. Bass and C Pale Ale

2. Guiness Stout

3. Foster's

American:

1. Samuel Adams

2. Any Micro Brewery Beer

Mainstream US beer (Bud, Coors, Miller) is nasty.

I agree, I dont know how people drink that ****water from the mainstram US brewers. I tried a Belguim beer call Triple Karmila (sp?) and Urthel. both brewed in the same valley. It was some good stuff.

Stella Artois - my fav. beer.:D Although I wish they wouldn't make it so strong, if they didn't my head would feel much better after a friday night

Bud - yeuch - my most hated - used to work in a large club and it has a reputation over here for being the worst tasting beer - but is still bought for ridiculous prices (?2.80 a bottle where I used to work!!!) by loads of peeps - my bar manager used to put it down to people only knowing a few words which they thought were really cool to say - "bottle o bud pleasshhe!" (ever since I stopped bar work I shudder at the sound of those words - anyone else who has worked in a large bar will prob know what I mean!).
