Tommy Vercetti
Hi, I m back, this time with a new issue. I m on broadband at my place, the problem is that we are say some 50 - 75 computers connected on a LAN network and passing through a router(which is our gateway). Now the problem is that if I have to host any website or server, then I just go to www.whatismyip.com and get my IP and configure my server on it, what really bakes my noodle is that when the next time I reboot I find that my IP has change by some one or two digits. I know about dynsite and other such sites. Any help would be appreciated...
John Veteran Posted December 29, 2004 Veteran Share Posted December 29, 2004 It doesn't sound like it's a static IP then... Probably DHCP is being used, so your IP will change every few days or few weeks.
