Can you run a Mac on Wintel systems? I think that the question is "Which of these OSs do you use?", not "Which OS out of any available worldwide do you use?".

XP Pro here.

They on run PCs, OS X does not. MAC is not a choice if you don't want to buy new hardware. Should have been clearer, sorry.

since when was beos a major operating system? if thats the case then I want nextstep listed dammit.

also since you seem more than a bit clueless :cross: macs can run wintel os's fine, not to mention linux so id suggest you leave the hardware out of it.

The thread says what os do you use, so if I am using os x what ****ing tick am I supposed to check or is this thread just for windows fanboys?

Don't lie? what to lie about? another pointless thread. I use both Windows Xp and Linux Slackware...now you happy? Windows Xp is not as crappy at all. If you uninstall all the Roxio products, including their own ACPI drivers, I am sure your PC can run happily for months..

RIGHT!

1 - I said nothing about the Wintel OS, get your facts straight!

2 - BeOS was just another alternative... don't annoy me about the choices there... go start your own thread if you like :p

3 - Gezzzz next time I'll be more specific "What PC compatible OS do you use" DAMMIT!

4 - The post was actually aimed at the fools trying to modulate Windows... but it turned into a post pitting Linux against Microsoft. Arrhhhh well... I'm not complaining... just enjoying reading the replies!
