Fonze
Whenever I go to visit my girlfriend her parents make us sleep in separate bed rooms. We are both 20 and she has 2 younger sisters, 17 and 13. I just wanted to make a poll to see what the majority think of this type of situation. It should be assumed that the 2 people sleeping together would not be fooling arround/having sex at any point while they are together in the bedroom. I would especially like some comments from parents who have had kids in this situation.

mick0142
me and my girlfriend sleep in the same bed AND fool around.. best of both worlds when i go to her house though, her dad has to be out of town on assignment, or i can't spend the night i am 21 and she is 19. most of the time though i just stay with her at her college appartment (on campus)

Don't go pushing it. And the remark about abstaining from certain actions... Yeah Right. I was young once, too, and I also know that "sh!t happens". When I visited my college girlfriend in Florida her mom didn't really care one way or the other. She got a BIG thumbs up from me.

Fred Derf Veteran Posted December 29, 2004 Veteran Share Posted December 29, 2004 I'm a parent. My philosophy is: "Parent's house, parent's rules" I don't think it would be a good example for the two younger sisters (sleeping in the same room, that is). briangw
Both my parents and my wife's parents let us sleep together prior to being married, since we lived together, but we only fooled around 3 times at her parents house, but that was before we had kids. Even after being married, we don't fool around just because our son is in the pack and play in our room as well as out of respect for her parents. Obraxis
Well, my g/f is 21, and im 22 - I pay rent to my parents and have done since im 18. Since then, they havn't minded us sharing a bed/having sex (as long as we keep the noise down!). Her parents on the other hand, are a bit old-fasioned and we only fool-around when they arn't there. I supose it depends on the parents.
