IK47
I think that you should consider buying a 16:9 HDTV television. Although a 4:3 HDTV television would seem to give you the best of both worlds, I have found 16:9 programming quite impressive. I was gifted a 30" 16:9 toshiba HDTV, and I am happy with it. I also highly recommend you to buy a Sony television. In my living room, I have a 51" Sony RP HDTV, and it is razor sharp and looks great. It makes my Toshiba look low quality.
