[World Jr. Hockey] Go Canada

Recommended Posts

I must say that ralphsworldjr.com seems like a pretty unofficial official URL. I gather that's the name of the ice surface (Ralph Engelstad Arena).

The United States was playing earlier today. They lost (in overtime) and will not get a medal. That game was probably on TV because the US was in it.

In Canada, it's on TSN. Although, out west, I gather that the station is called the Toronto Sports Network.

its not on tv in my area. espn is showing boxing matches from the 70s and espn 2 is showing the top 100 stories from the last 12 months.

edit: the reason why I can't watch the game is because I don't have TSN.

Bergeron scores for Canada on the Powerplay to make it 4-1

Sydney Crosby got another assist. Gotta love that 17 year old.

Woh, 5-1 Canada. Anthony Stewart scores for Canada.

Two goals in just over one minute.

he's refereing to the very mild bias that TSN has for the Maple Laughs and the extra love for the team eventhough TSN is a national broadcast.

I've said before Toronto is the glue that holds Canada together.

It is the one issue that the nation can unite upon. They all hate Toronto.

Toronto Sports Network...

Canada's actually well coached. Teams like the czechs are too porly coached, almost amateurish. It's making a huge difference, look at the styles and the plays and positions.

I think Canada is going to take the gold.

Only the Leafs could lose a hockey game after being up 6-1 after two periods.

(technically, it was 5-1 after two before they lost 6-5 in OT but you get the idea)
