andi_kam
on the topic of mp3 players does anyone know why people in the UK have to suffer from getting players that have a limited maximum volume? Where as in the US you can use the full potential of the players volume? So, which would you choose? Wow, I went a whole topic on mp3 players without mentioning the ipod. Doh. Its gotta be one of the above ;)

Fit4130Rider
I got the Zen Xtra about 5 months before the touch was released, and I never heard about it until it was too late. While I still love my player, I would have much rather had the Touch. Go with it.
Hypoxiaicon
Zen Micro!!! Unless you really need 20GB of Space, then the Zen Touch. If you need >5GB Get the Micro, Best MP3 Player At the moment in my opinion.

Ck87.JF
MP3 players... are you all crazy? I look at all of those, and stuff... it's crazy. It is like a couple hundred dollars for just 128MB (or sometimes 256) one, and a few hundred dollars for the iPODs. I have a CD/MP3/radio player. It plays regular audio CDs, CDs with MP3 files on them, and can tune the radio in. And it costed less than $60. Sure, it's not terribly form-efficient, but it's cheap, and it works. Plus, I have a $320 HP iPAQ rx3115 Mobile Media Companion PDA, with a $30 128MB SD card. It does writing/reading, music, some movie formats, pretty good battery, Internet, pictures, alarm/calendar/contacts/etc (PIM apps), ALL KINDS of stuff! The iPOD only has the music stuff, plus games. There's my input... :D ~Christopher

goheels681
I think the reason for the limit was that there was some ordinance in the EU that limited personal music devices to a certain dB level. For iPods, you can remove the li mit with euPod
