People sleeping... creepy?

Had an arguement with some people over my latest desktop, just a random picture of one of my infatuations sleeping, I don't see anything wrong with it, but we've been arguing for days now, so - what do you guys think? Having a picture of someone asleep as your desktop, creepy or no?

Its only creepy if:

1 They dont know you have the picture

2 They hardly know you

I do not see anything wrong with it. As long as the person knows you took the photo and is ok with it. Other then that, I wouldn't care what anyone else had to say. It is kind of sad, that the smallest things seem to bother others.

I think it depends on who it actually is....ie someone you know may be ok, but a random stranger...that would be....'unique'

Basically my arguement was what the first answer said, I know her - hell, the picture was from like 10 seconds before I went to sleep in the same place, she knows it exists - so I didn't see the big deal, and - I'd post my desktop but, I'm greedy - and don't like sharing my pretties :shifty:

It wouldn't be the same if the lady was famous or well known and knew the pic was taken... Can you offer any more insight on the picture?

Visited some folks recently, stayed in the dorms with the ladies - took my camera along, I'd been taking random pictures all night long, getting ready to go to sleep, look over and chick's fallen asleep - thought it looked cute so I took a pic, then i went to sleep - next morning everyone in the dorm went over all the pictures, and - they're my good friends, and I'm after.. atleast one of them.. so.. didn't see anything wrong with it, 'specially since she knew I took it and didn't mind.

I used to have a pic of my (then) gf on my desktop. She was asleep in that one. But that was fine because we were a couple.

If you're not going out with her or she doesn't know about it, then its wrong....you sick perv! :p

Eh, don't see how that one would work, I took the picture so I'm pretty positive that puts me in the same area code

Don't worry, I liked it :p

It's not creep if they know about it. what a sad argument to have though.

Haven't you anything better to argue about, like what was the best, Supernoodles, or Superglue?

Dunno, I think having the picture of her sleeping as your desktop insinuates a certain type of relationship with her. If that's not the case, I can understand why people have been giving you a hard time. Just my $.02.

is she your girlfriend or someone that your just obsessed with? and if so does she know that you are? and is the picture huge, like does it take up the whole desktop?

Well, I'd understand except that - the title is more or less a formality, like I said, I slept there, like - with - just a little while afterwards, it's not like meeting some random chick who happens to live with your friend and snapping a picture, oh well.

No, we didn't have anything better to argue about, but supernoodles are definately the better of the two.

edit: added for last post instead of posting twice in a row, she's not my girlfriend - she should be though =P.. maybe I should ask sometime eh?.. and it's 1600x1200, like all pictures I take, which is native res. for my monitor - so yes, it's the entire background.

ask her out. then you nobody can say anything about you having that picture...

if she knows you have the picture on your desktop then she knows you like her... unless shes slow... really really slow.

my female friends would be freaked out if i put a picture of them on my desktop
