Mutal1sk Posted January 17, 2005 Share Posted January 17, 2005 When i try opening Exeem after i've installed it, it comes up as open (exeem.exe) in the processes window but the program doesnt actually open, and the process closes after 10-20 seconds. Would this have anything to do with Spybots Immunize feature? I know apparently there is no adaware/spyware in this release but its the only thing i can think of. Am_I_Evil Posted January 17, 2005 Share Posted January 17, 2005 installed it.....looked at it...deleted because of no key.... ran Microsoft AntiSpyware and found ****loads of Cydoor even after the program was deleted....(lots in registry) so no....its not just a part of the program....it goes in and infects you computer.....if it was just one simple ad in the program it would have been uninstalled with the program....instead i had to use the Microsoft thing to delete Cydoor..... it may not f anything up, but it does install Cydoor and just deleting the program does not get rid of it..... I am all about supporting developers, and I would gladly pay for a lite version. I'd love it if he offered a free versions with ads and a paid version to take the ads off. Since he won't, others will do it themselves and release it underground for free. Its just the way the community works, and there isn't too much that he can do about it. Ive almost got the ad spot removed. I got a used key working. He uses some clever programming here.
