paying by payments

is paying something by payments bad for your credit? I just bought a t.v and I want to finance it, but is this going to hurt my credit should i just pay it in full?

They way it works is weird. Debt does not show up on your credit report for 6 months. So if you pay everything off on time and in full it really does not show up on your credit report. Which inturn is a bad thing. Since nothing show up on the report you would have little credit. But on the other hand you would have to pay interest on the tv if you dont pay in full.

the only way to ruin credit is if u dont pay... if youre late, u pay interest.... if youre always late or dont pay, youre name and info and what u bought, basically everything about u is entered into a system (i think its Accufax) where other companies, credit cards, banks etc run credit checks on you and from there decided to give u credit or let u pay for items on payments or ur stuck having to pay for everything in cash in full....
