I am pretty sure it does not. It seems that Apple PDF is for the consumer.. maybe i'm wrong.

For the last time, it only voids your warranty if you break something.

On every Apple machine I have had you have been able to upgrade at least the memory without voiding the warranty, don't see why the Mini would be any different!

Maybe it has something to do with Apple charging over $400 for 1 gig of RAM... If you break something I can see why it would void it, just like with any other product.

If you don't know what you are doing, get someone who does to do it for you! Does anyone have a copy of the manual that is supplied to users with the Mini?? I want to know if it provides a short guide as they do with the *Books to allow user upgrading of RAM.

As long as you don't break anything, your warranty will be fine.

You can practically replace any component in the system I think I read, (hard drive, RAM, bluetooth, and Airport) and if you don't damage anything in the processor then your warranty will still be valid.
