[HOWTO] coLinux - running Linux in Windows

I was quite pleased that it worked for me first time.. However, I'll just keep that around to run my favourite apps if i go to windows... Right now, I'm running a dual boot system, and spend most of my time in Ubuntu.

Its a great OS.

By bridging, i mean selecting the two adapters in windows, and saying "bridge". I guess you mean the same thing... I remember reading something about putting type="bridged" in the network flag in the xml setup file, but I didnt do that, I left it as type="tap", as it came, and just bridged the devices in windows

Hi

I am experiencing problems with Kdevelop. The error message generated

when creating a simple hello world KDE application is :

*** Creating configure

autom4te: /usr/bin/m4 failed with exit status:139

make[1]: *** [cvs] Error 1

make: *** [all] Error 2

When I ran the configure script in the project directory using the

Konsole, the error message I received is relating the QT libraries not

being able to be found.

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1.0) (library qt-mt)

not found. Please check your installation!

Have you experience this problem?

I am pretty certain that your problem would be best handled in the regular "*nix client" forums here - not in the "Completed HOWTOs & FAQs".

PM a moderator, and they can split this off for you.

Hi guys,

I haven't been given any instructions yet on how to do this (I'm brand new today).......... as soon as I get the info, I will be glad to do this!
