KC
I would say go for the 1.8 or the 2.0 but they seem kinda cheese only a 8x dvd rom drive? and a 16mb video card? ONe should be able to find better for a better price, but it is your money and maybe there is something I don't know but.... i would be scared to buy one of those, cuz they never even mention the FSB on them or what socket they are or what type of ram it is or the speed on the ram or hdd or the brand of hdd, I am assuming that the P4 in it is probably a p4-m with 400MHz of system bus speed which aint bad, it does seem like a good deal compared to others. Give dell a look there a little more pricy, and they make crappy desktop's (well better then anyother OEM machines) but there notebook's are sweet. I found this>>>>http://commerce.euro.dell.com/dellstore/co...dhs&co=&b=32275 edit, take that 8x dvd thing back, that's all I can find on any system. jwkuipers
Something else to consider, it looks as if there is a standard pentium 4 in there, not the mobile version. That would be a plus for gamers, exept the video card sucks. This also means less battery life.

zivan56
I have an 8MB video and nothing goes slow on it (at least CFS2, MSTS, Darkspace, etc), so 16MB should be more than enough.

KC
you have a point, it would be fast memory, but not that much memory, what are you gonna be using this for? Games? what type of games? Hey call them up and find out, what you would have to do in order to upgrade that video card....so say like you get it and you can't play your game cuz it's to choppy, and so you want more. If they tell you you can't upgrade it your self, that's a good sing that it's built onto the board so you can't upgrade just your card you have to buy a whole new machine,Dell, HP, Gateway,Compaq do that on there low end machine's if the video card is having problems, it's time to buy new computer. I don't know much about the inside of a laptop, but i don't think all of them are "intergarted" beside's that it look's pretty good. Don't go off what we all say, just do what you want cuz in the end you will be the one benifiting or not benifiting form it. Ask but don't follow.
