Scorpio:

Honestly I haven't read the article, if you post something and expect people to read the article and only reply to it, then you should at least make it accessibly, which you did NOT, so don't through "did you read the article" back in someones face when you didn't provide them a way to read it. I was only replying to what YOU said or someone else that posted in here. I have my opinions too, nothing says you can't post what you think, but don't expect everyone to agree with you. If you don't want people posting replys to what you post then the best way is to not post. btw, ask most people that KNOW football which gets hit more a RB or a QB, why do you think RB's careers are usually shorter then QB's?? No, I don't have some article to back that up.. it's just common knowledge.

BOOGSoftball, don't forget his blocking too, I would count those as hits for sure. :D

Wow.

How many times was Aikman sacked?  Hit?

They don't come close to the amount of carries Emmitt had...or the hits he took before getting tackled.  Simple football knowledge, Scorp.

QB's don't take near as many hits as RB's.....

Classy move?  Well, it was true.  Should he have phrased it differently, probably, but he didn't leave his team in the lurch like some other touted RB.  He stuck through it.

By their very nature a RB gets hit, I'd guess, 95% of the plays he touches the ball. The exception may be an untouched run out of bounds or for a TD (very, very rare).

A QB has rule sdesigned to explicitly keep him from getting hit, so yeah I'd agree with you. Any RB would take more hits than any QB on any team.
