[Networking] MSBN 700 & BEFSR41

Question

axonmedia

Hey Guys,

I'm having some trouble with my network.

The way in which I need to set it up, is as follows:

Internet -> Modem -> MSBN 700 -> BEFSR41 -> Computer(s)

Microsoft BN 700 (Primary Router): Wireless G, DHCP Server, Port Forwarding, Firewall, ect.

Linksys BEFSR41 (Secondary Routerp): I want it to essentially act like a switch, fowarding DHCP, Default Gateway, ect. to the MSBN 700 router.

I've done this in the reverse order (BEFSR41 -> MSBN 700) before, because the MSBN 700 is an incredibly more user friendly device to operate. But my current situation doesn't permit me to setup my network that way anymore.

I've tried different settings in the BEFSR41's web-admin already with little success.

Is anyone familiar with the BEFSR41 enough to know how to configure it in a manner that will suit my needs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

-Ax
