"he took this turn coming off of us rt1 in central jersey going to ryders lane in east brunswick doing 45mph... felt like the car was going to lose control. i can do the same turn in my 02 ford focus zx3 which isn't even lowered or have any work done to the suspension at almost 70mph. yea... so you were saying they handle perfectly?"

It's called fishtailing. Something your focus can't do without pulling the parking brake. :)

You need skill to drive a rwd car at speed on a sharp curve. There is also a huge difference in autocross and road racing. On a road course the vette would destroy any little fwd 4 cylinder. Also the C6 Z06 has made great strides in cornering ability. The vette however has always been a car for curves. You people talk as if it's a solid rear camaro or something.

i know what its called. i used to drive a RWD ford f150 that fishtailed all the time. I was just saying... i was expecting more out of a corvette. It may have been driver inexperience tho.

also... i've experienced fishtailing in my focus... for some reason the stock suspension in a regular focus hatchback (not an SVT) really really sucks and the rear end kicks out quite a bit. especially over minor bumps at high speeds. if aftermarket suspensions only didn't cost so much...

and of course the vette would take "any little fwd 4 cylinder" in a road course. I never said it wouldn't... i just said the vette and autocross don't mix well together.

if you got the money go for Infiniti G35 Coupe, if you don't got the money get the 350z, also think about if you need the back two seats, if you don't, got for 350z, if you got kids or too many friends go for g35.

wtf? bro, the corvette with the new Z51 "HANDLING" package, it makes the porsche look like a honda civic. all those POS japanese cars mentioned here in this thread are lowered to the ground making them good at handling. what is the corvette chopped liver? it ****ing lowered too. read up dude before making a retarded post.

Corvettes stink. I know because well, I have one.

i felt to cramped in the 350z ... if i wasnt going to drive it daily i would get it.. but since i would have to a G35 is a way better choice for me.. more space inside and just as quick.

g35 pls... :woot: ...neva heard b4 this poll is it american car?

its the very low end skyline in japan.

basicly a luxory 350z w/ a better handeling system

Did he leave the stock tires on it? You need to buy a good set of all season tires for them. With my Subaru STi they show the car driving through the snow but they come with summer tires. For the winter, you need to buy a good set of all season tires because if you use the stock tires you will go nowhere in the snow.

LMAO I have 4 performance tires on my Escort and have 0 trouble in snow. :)

(and dont give me and grief about no power, I'm 174whp*roughly 200 crank* n/a)
