Nexus- Posted February 11, 2005 Share Posted February 11, 2005 (edited) at this point i would rather see mess.be quoted every 5 min for screenshots then winbeta. they really disapointed a lot of people including their own staff by not keeping up with their promises. I would also like to add that i was told that the owner of winbeta considers its a leak just by telling you hes got something and showing screenshots (or even just posting a build number/text) and usually feels no obligation to then distrube software because he feels as tho hes already leaked it. If they actually had the build they would of shown more screenshots by now like with Longhorn they show the Control Panel so why not the Options in MSN Messenger 7 or the installation. Tom afaik is not on the MSN Messenger 7 beta and this build isn't available to beta testers anyway. So where you make that assumtion from I have no idea?!? According to the T&C i read when i signed up for the Microsoft Beta program, 5 years ago, youre not supposed to "give out" your beta ID as its "personal to you" Especially, on a public forum like this *shakes head* :no: Agreeing to these terms is your acknowledgement that you will not disclose any information about a product including, but not limited to; the product, beta newsgroup content, Web site documents and other content, or the content of any beta-related e-mail to persons not covered by the agreement. As cream said beta testers are very likely to recieve this build over the weekend so until then nobody can really test if Messenger Plus or another the new Stuffplug-NG 2... Can someone report who has this copy if it works with the latest Messenger Plus! ? 585451417[/snapback] I am a tester for stuffplug ng 2 as well :) and i can tell you now that messenger plus will not function with the new version :) messenger plus is made so it only works with reconisable versions of messenger. personally, i do not think patchou should make this version compatible with 604, this is only a beta version remember and messenger plus can sometimes disrupt messenger.
