Does anyone know any guides or something explaining how to set up a terminal server like you have done? I mean, setting up so that the users can't do anything except running the preinstalled applications? Like you have done, disabling the "run" dialog and "My computer".

It is indeed, a Dell D600 laptop. I think it may have to go down though, fun to play with, not enough time to mange. Beauty is if anyone screws with it I can just restart and restore from the image I made, which is located on the hard drive as well.

Cheers!

Please help. When I try to log on to the system using the provided user name and password, I get an error that says:

" The local policy of this system does not permit you to login interactively"

Please help. I have been able to log-in via Remote Desktop before.

Note: When I connect via Remote Desktop, I get Win XP Pro for some reason. Is this correct?

Nope, RDC doesnt need a license ('trail date') for 180 days, then time's up. Just downloaded a Evaluation version of windows 2003.
