Hexlord
Strange. I didn't encounter this on my 2500+ after a fresh reformat...
Munnday
I've installed it without any problems - still not sure what it is for though. You will find Windows Update will download it, but wont be able to install it. To install it you will need to open "Device Manager", under processors select your processor. Under the "Drivers" tab click update driver, and follow the menu.
vertigosity
Strange. I didn't encounter this on my 2500+ after a fresh reformat... 585474239[/snapback] Maybe it's some sort of bugfix for a small barely-botched batch of chips? FWIW, I did a fresh install on my mobile Barton 2700+ of XPSP2 two days back, didn't see it then, don't see it now.
Gary_Player
Could be a bug only for certain cores...Someone should report it to MS

N_B
I installed it and it's not on windows update anymore, so apparently it worked.. Have no idea what it was for, though. My CPU is a T-bred 2200+.
Gobelet
It's for Speedstep thing on Mobile Athlon I guess. Just install it if you can, and don't care about it if you can't
