arnt 2 6600gt's about the same as a 6800 somethin. so woudnt 2 6600 be more expensive...or you can always use google :pinch:

My score...irrelevant I know since it's not a 6600GT and also not 3DMark05, but just wanted to share.

I use SLI'ed 6600GT's, it was cheaper than a 6800 GT overall, so I thought why not.

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=612567

5579 Score on 3DMark 2005

Both OC'ed to 422/1000 1.05

At no overclock I get 5275. I am going to try to boost the speed a little more.

To insurektion: I am pretty sure a 6600 GT starts at a 300/1000 speed and 1ghz. I use stock cooling and run intensive games at 58-75 Degrees Celcius. Just experiment, you will start knowing you went too high when you start seeing Artifacts.

It's not a 6800GT, its softmodded with rivatuner so that windows thinks it is (purely cosmetic change), 4500 on a nu is pretty damn good if you ask me.

WTF? you cant softmod a 6600gt to a 6800gt. it physically doesnt have 12 pipelines.

3991 @ 567/1.16 ;) ...I want to hit 4,000+ ...stock cooling

have you tried upping the core to 570? that should put it over. or OC that cpu to 3.3ghz. nothing major, but will give you a good "bragging rights" boost.
