nartac
Just purchased a Radeon 8500 64mb retail. My computer specs include Abit KR7A-133 with latest bios, AMD 1.33ghz overclocked to 1.47ghz, OCZ 512mb PC2700 DDR, SB Live! value. When I set my AGP to 2X, my games such as Comanche 4 runs fine. When I set the to 4X, programs run fine except Comanche 4 locks up within few seconds in starting the game. I'm also using the latest driver for the Radeon, Via 4-in-1 version 4.39 beta 2 and card is not overclocked. Any suggestions why this is so? PeteA_UK
Just read your post. I'm sure that I read a problem like this on the ati web site aiw page. I think that the solution was to increase the AGP apeture size to 128mb
