betelgeuse. i find it hard to believe that you just happened to create a thread on the same topic with EXACTLY the same title as Mxxcon's thread. spamming isn't cool and is against the rules. don't do that again.

DAP is cool, but you pretty much have to give all rights to any privacy away to use it. when you install it, instead of just skipping past the EULA, scroll down and read their privacy policy. it's pretty scary.

for now, i'm using reget deluxe. i like the tool bar it gives you in ie. just wish it would automagicaly catagorize the files you dl.

It wasn't on purpose Spyder. I really didn't see this thread. I made an honest mistake.

For the last couple of years ive tried and tested a whole bunch of download managers, from freeware to shareware but i keep getting back to LEECHGET, for its ease of use to its features.

Would you like to share your opinion too

(Please Refer to IE managers and not build-in as in Opera, etc)

** It wont be long when IE has its own

Internet Download Manager

Its the easiest to use, it actually speeds up your download (no kidding here, my usual dial up download speed is 5.7, with IDM, its 6.3) and best of all...it supports Firebird.

(Yeah, i know, "for the IE only" but I just had to throw that in)
