bigbluepride35 Share Posted March 29, 2005 OK so since the season is less than one week away I figure try to get a survey going of who will win what this year. I'd put it in some kind of poll but there would be too many questions. So We'll do division winners, wild card, league champs, WS champs, league MVPS and league Cy Youngs. AL East: AL Central: AL West: AL Wild Card: AL Champs: AL MVP: AL Cy Young: NL East: NL Central: NL West: NL Wild Card: NL Champs: NL MVP: NL Cy Young: WS Champs:

bigbluepride35 Author Share Posted March 31, 2005 being a mets fan, i just have to inform you all that they will be winning the series this year I'm a Mets fan too, but be realistic man. I'll be happy just making the playoffs. If they somehow win a series great but for me just making it would be an accomplishment in light of recent years.
lanrat Share Posted March 31, 2005 AL East: boston AL Central: cleveland AL West: anaheim AL Wild Card: yankees AL Champs: yankees AL MVP: A-rod AL Cy Young: i'm not sure. danniboi Share Posted April 4, 2005 AL East: NY Yankees (i hate them !) AL Central: Chicago White Sox (i hate them even more !) AL West: L.A. Angles (still not used to their new name) AL Wild Card: Boston AL Champs: NY Yankees (I hope I'm wrong) AL MVP: Alex Rod AL Cy Young: No idea but a guess would be Randy Johnson NL East: Florida (look out for them) NL Central: Chicago Cubs (lots to prove & they will succeed) NL West: SF Giant's NL Wild Card: Philadelphia NL Champs: Chicago Cubs NL MVP: Aramis Ramirez or Nomar (probably Nomar) NL Cy Young: Carlos Zambrano WS Champs: Chicago Cubs ! 7 games & they win in NY against Randy Johnson with Aramis being MVP of series. Cubs better sign Aramis Ramirez to an extension today, he'll be pretty pricey and well wanted after this year. He's not even on top of his game and will be the best 3rd baseman in MLB in a couple of years, offense & defense.

bigbluepride35 Author Share Posted April 4, 2005 (edited) $%@#&*^ Mets' bullpen. Wasted a gem by Pedro. Gonna be the achilles heel all year unless they get some serious help. And Looper was the one who was supposed to have the LEAST questions marks out of that pen. Didn't record an OUT!! Just 14 PITCHES to blow the game. AAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!! Just had to let that out. And I'm a pessimist. Not giving up on the season or anything yet lol, but that was a brutal loss. And I know it's only one game but the Mets have no bullpen and it jsut concerns me seriously. I mean to see your big weakness exposed in game one that blatantly is worrying. And again, GETTING to Looper was supposed to be the real concern, he was supposed to be fine.
