jedimasterk
What are all these refresh problems. I own a GForce 2 GTS downloaded 29.42's adjusted my monotir to 1152x768 with 85 hz, no problem!. What is this problem I'm hearing alot about, with people having refresh problems. I like the nView feature nVidia put in. Nice having transparent menues. nekrosoft13
if you got windows 2k or xp, all the games you run will be in 60hz refresh rate. the refresh rate makes sure, you can use the higher number

jedimasterk
Does this occur with the 23.11 drivers. Tried Jedi Night Demo seemed to work ok. Why has nVidia not fixed this problem?.
nekrosoft13
from what i know yes it does occur the best way to fix it is RIVA TUNER for it to work properly you need your monitor drivers installed, so it doesn't say plug and play monitor. if you got your drivers installed riva tuner will detect the best setting for refresh rate, im getting 120hz in gamez :)
jedimasterk
I see what you mean now!!!. When I looked at my monitor setting during Jedi Outcast it was 60hz at 1024x768. When not playing game I get 85hz at 1024x768. Can't understand why nVidia hasn't fixed this yet. Never noticed it with 23.11, but then again I never new what to look for until now. jedimasterk
Tried MultRes utility recommended by nVidia for 60hz fix. NO GO!!. Didn't work!. Sent e-mail to Paul Thurrott of WinInfo. Hopefully he can contact MS and NVidia and find out what is going on with this!.
Chrysalis
Im using refreshlock systray applet all the ones that edit the registry don't work anymore, they say they set to 85hz but when I play a game its always 75hz.
