Tip: Using 3rd Party download manager with Mozilla

Question

I'm not sure how many people know of this, probably a fair bit, but I was scratching my head a little initially so I figure if there's one person out there who was wondering the same thing about this, it's worth it. Please don't flame me if this has already been posted or you already knew.

That aside, I managed to get Flashget to work with Mozilla regardless that it doesn't actually support it or mention it anywhere on their page (that I could find). The flashget folk offer a plugin for Opera to enable make-shift intergration with Flashget, this also works with Mozilla.

Download it here.

Hope this helps someone. :D

P.S. If you have opinions about how much Mozilla sucks, this thread is not the place for it.

lol, hey, I like IE too! It's just that there's so many people hellbent on shoving memory usage statistics and open source testimonies down your throat for just mentioning Mozilla. It sh*ts me big time, I just want to use Mozilla in peace damnnit! :p

True, but at least it's something, and flashget is quite a nice download manager.

Really? Wow, it didn't do that here. Reget didn't do that either.
