subferno Posted April 12, 2005 Share Posted April 12, 2005 Just recently when I open up Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Word, my firewall is telling me that those applications are trying to use the port 37926, which it wasnt using before. What are they sending? Put a sniffer (ethereal - free) on your box - and capture the actual traffic.. edit: I do not see any issues with that port on the ISC http://isc.sans.org/port_details.php?port=37926 You really need to look to what the traffic is - to know..
