This news is going to change almost daily. TO wants more money from the Eagles. This is only one year after he signed a 7 year $49 million contract. He also fired his agent David Joesph, who didn't file the papers to get him released from the 49ers. He hired Drew Rosenhaus as his new agent. His new agent calls his current deal "sub-standard deal".

The salary cap for NFL teams is $83 million (I think).? Plus teams have to pay for a roster of 52 players, not 10-12 players.? $7 million is a lot of money for a single player in the NFL.

what is he complaining about then he is making overhalf the salary cap. and he still has a running back and a quarter back he is competing with. Mcnabb being one of the best.

To be fair, he is one of the best WR's playing right now and if you compare his salary to other top WR's then it's easy to see why he wants it changed..

Moss w/Vikings - 8 years for $75 million.

Harrison w/Colts - 7 years for $67 million.

Owens w/Eagles - 7 years for $49 million.

[Rookie] Fitzgerald w/Arizona - 6 years for $40 base upto $60 million.

and none of those teams will win a SB in the next 8 years.

don't they see the current forumla, and how it works best. thats what i like about the patriots (as of now). 3 super bowls later, and it still really hasn't gone to their head (for the most part).

I agree, but if the teams are paying this much then really he should get paid nearly the same for his performance.

The Eagles did make the Superbowl last year, and (afaik) should have a good enough team to get back this year, especially against the NFC.. winning as you said may not happen though.

I can vouch that the people in Philadelphia and the suburbs are ****ed. No one here is going to be suprised if he is traded. Freddie Mitchell is a dead man walking and TO is just making people here more angry. He signed a contract and he should just deal with it. If he wanted more then he should of did it when the contract was made and not threaten to sit out during training camp and preseason. I do not think people want to put up with three months of training camp if there is going to tons of contraversey surrounding it. It will be distracting for the players to get ready for the season. Plus when the season starts and he is not practiced all of the routes and plays that he has to do, which will just make it more difficult for the team.

Hmm.... I think T.O. is full of himself. From this: http://www.jagfire.net/nfl/owen****.gif to this: http://www.jagfire.net/nfl/to_rips_sign.gif to this crap. I would tell him, work with this, or find a new team. They've got plenty of other good recievers on the Eagles.

Um actually they don't lol. But yeah I think the guy needs to shut up and play. I saw him on some CNBC interview where he pulled the Latrell Sprewell and talked about taking care of his family. He had $8 million from a signing bonus when he signed the contract. That's gotta be enough (even after taking out for agent, lawyer, all the other people athletes need to pamper them, and taxes) to put money away for 2-3 kids for college and buy yourself a nice home. Athletes making over $1 million a year playing the family card is just ridiculous. Especially when the majority of the people paying to attend your games are making less than 6 figure salaries a year and managing to get by. JUST FRIGGIN PLAY

Unfortunately, he's the only person lol. And I don't think he's going to still be in Philly when the next season starts lol. And just one last thing on Owens. I'm a person who actually didn't care much about all his on the field stuff. The pom-poms, the Ray Lewis dance, the standing on the Cowboys star (not in sequential order). I thought he was an idiot but I didn't care. If you don't wnat him doing those things, stop him. But first "jokingly" taking a shot at McNabb and now this? DO your trash-talking during the game and leave it at that. And sadly, as much of an idiot he is for opening his yap too much, I still feel that he's one of few NFL players who DON'T get into serious legal issues off the field. If he would just keep his mouth shut he'd be a near model player.

Yeah, he is WAY to braggy.

as a diehard eagles fan.. i hope this gets settled... i would def like to keep TO for next season... luckily Andy Reid and the Eagles staff is brilliant at managing the salary... ill cross my fingers.. id like to see Philly take home the SuperBowl...

Yeah I wish they would've won this years... But that's because I hate the patriots more than the Eagles. :D

wow, are you serious? how can any multi-million dollar/year athlete say that? thats just absurd. i agree 100% though, just friggin play.

and to think I almost had a little respect for him after the heart he showed in the superbowl. Oh well. Again, i've said this many times before. Athletes should not be allowed to speak, period. Nothing good ever comes from it. (now I am talking about the dig he took at McNabb about not playing hard at the superbowl)

    • Report: Trump's T1 Mobile off to a rocky start with messy pre-orders by David Uzondu You might have heard by now that The Trump Organization, spearheaded by President Trump's sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, is launching yet another product to add to the collection. This time, it is a gold smartphone, the T1, and a companion wireless service. The whole operation is being pushed with the usual "America-first" bravado, but it seems they forgot to get the basics right. If you thought you could just hop online and secure your patriotic pocket computer, you are in for a nasty surprise, as the whole process appears to be fundamentally broken. A new report from 404Media details this chaos perfectly, as one of their writers tried to order one of the T1 phones. The goal was simple: pay the $100 preorder deposit and see what this thing is all about when it ships. What happened next was a masterclass in how not to conduct e-commerce. The website crashed, booted him to an error page, and then, for good measure, charged his credit card the wrong amount entirely, taking $64.70. And get this, he received a confirmation email saying his order would ship... despite never once being asked for his shipping address. It is, in his words, the "worst experience I've ever faced buying a consumer electronic product". To add insult to injury, when he tried to log into the new account, the site prompted him to create, and he was immediately met with yet another error page, locking him out. The shoddy experience is not just limited to the checkout. Neowin found a bunch of errors on the official product page. Sure, it boasts a big 6.8-inch Punch Hole AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 50MP main camera, which sounds nice on paper. But then you notice the company completely forgot to mention what processor powers the phone, which is probably a MediaTek. At one point, the page bizarrely listed a "5,000 mAh long life camera," though that has since been fixed. By the way, there's good reason to doubt that this phone will be made in America, despite the press releases insisting it will be. Sourcing all the necessary components without using foreign parts is unbelievably difficult and expensive, something even Apple does not do. The more likely scenario, according to Max Weinbach, is that this is simply a reskin of a much cheaper device, maybe the T-Mobile REVVL 7 Pro 5G, which retails at a fraction of the T1's $499 asking price. The T1 Mobile joins a sprawling collection of other products likely aimed at the same loyal customer. The catalog of gear for this audience already includes the gold "Never Surrender" sneakers, the "God Bless the USA" Bible, "Victory47" perfume, digital trading cards, $TRUMP memecoins, and more. It is still very early days, of course, and while one might forgive some teething issues for a new venture, this initial preorder phase has been exceptionally chaotic. Hopefully, things will become much clearer once there is a firm launch date and a physical product to test. Do you plan to buy the T1 and move to Trump Mobile?
    • Is this release set for the end of this year or for next year?
    • Windows 10 KB5063159 fixes bug that wouldn't let some Microsoft Surface devices boot by Sayan Sen Microsoft released Windows 10 Patch Tuesday updates for the month last week. The one for Windows 10 under KB5060533 / KB5060531 / KB5061010 / KB5060998 introduced a bug that would not let Surface Hub v1 devices start due to a Secure Boot validation issue. As such, Microsoft had paused the update similar to the compatibility blocks or safeguard holds it applies for major feature updates as well. This bug was uncovered after the update went live, as Microsoft later added it to the list of known issues for that update and it also put up a big notice in bold. It wrote: Earlier today, the company released an out-of-band (OOB) update to address the issue. It has been published under KB5063159 and is only being offered to Surface Hub v1 devices instead of the buggy KB5060533 Patch Tuesday one. In the description of the new OOB update, Microsoft writes: You can find the support article for KB5063159 here on Microsoft's website. It is downloaded and installed automatically but users can also manually download it from the Microsoft Update Catalog website.
