hotwire
I am using the latest Firebox 1.0.3 and latest wmp v10 right now and i been having this problem for a while now whenever i try to play some kind of vid. mainly videos from www.killsometime.com i can watch them as long as i want, just don't move my cursor. if i do, the vid that's playing will be white-out. however i can still hear the voice and stuff so i am wondering anybody else is experiencing this problem also it doesn't do that in internet explorer which means firefox is the culprit
Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted April 17, 2005 Global Moderator Share Posted April 17, 2005 happens to me too. you should play it in IE. if you change the volume, resize, or click or anything, it goes white for me aswell. i'd like a fix for this, but i think it would ruin my security :) so i let it be. bangbang023 Veteran Posted April 18, 2005 Veteran Share Posted April 18, 2005 you need to create a registry key that tells firefox to use wmp10 and not 6.4, but I can't remember the damn key. edit: ah ha! I found it! save the following key to your system, then double click the file and click "yes" to let it add itself to the registry. http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/resources/wmp9.reg
