ToryAmos
Although this worked perfectly on my system, i suggest you make a drive image BEFORE you proceed. 1. get yourself a .bmp image, must be 16-color, 640x480. example of mine http://img244.echo.cx/my.php?image=boot2tv.png or here http://sr1.mytempdir.com/16150 2. rename bitmap to boot.bmp and copy it to \%systemroot% folder (e.g., C:\windows) 3. edit your boot.ini by placing /bootlogo /noguiboot after /fastdetect eg: [2k3+sp1] [boot loader] timeout=0 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows Server 2003, Standard" /noexecute=alwaysoff /fastdetect /bootlogo /noguiboot
MazX_Napalm
Why? How often do you reboot your server that you would even bother what the boot screen looked like?

semaja2.net
not a good idea if you do anything during boot up eg. defrag/scandisk u will not see anything on screen and hence u will not know whats going on and could be doing damage of some sort , so not recomended i prefer to know whats going on

Eversurf
That's a bad Idea. I wouldn't mess with my server in any way shape or form. Bad Idea unless it your workstation, which i presume it is. If not good luck explaining to your boss why the server is all screwed up. Have fun!!!
