I tried opera but it didn't really stick. I found k-meleon though and I absolutely love it (found it while trying opera...). Completely Scriptable+Fast+Minimalistic=Goodness!

used IE, then Avant, then Opera, now FireFox.

i like the way you can add extensions easily.

ditto!

i really dont like IE at all.. i used avant forever and then i think version 7 of Opera came out and i used it for a while, then the first build of Firefox that was released got me hooked!.. it's just so easy to use extensions and everything. I would definitely use Opera faithfully if there was no Firefox, i like them both for different reasons, Firefox just seems to surpass them all for my preferences and tastes :D

imagine if we all still had to use IE

Opera is a great browser and all, but now that I'm used to Firefox, I'm afraid of change.

Now I know what IE users feel like.

... Except I don't have spyware.

I like Opera, it's a damn good web browser. On my comp, Opera is faster than FF and IE. Anyway, I'll stick to Firefox. Right now I'm used to Firefox, just like I was to IE like a year ago.

But hey, Opera is worth taking the chance :p

[/fanboy] :sleep:: :rolleyes::

Did tryed it, but firefox is still beter. Feels much more easer. Opera feels like going to McDonolds to grab a bite in a suit. It works but doesn't feel right..... :pinch::

It's sad how small of a chance (or none) you people give this excellent browser.

That's like hearing about Firefox, installing it, then going to an active-x site with it. You see the site doesn't work, you label FF crap and never touch it again.

Sounds pretty dumb, huh?

Opera has taken me a little longer to get used to, but it pays off. Everything is designed in a real logical, efficient manner.

Switched to Opera a while back when FireFox messed up bigtime on my system.

I might change back however, I love the way FireFox lets you block ads so easily. I also occasionally have cookie troubles with Opera and I don't like the way Opera doesn't let you open certain things in new tabs when FireFox allows you to force it to.

I did, but I could never really see any major differences between Opera and Firefox so I decided to switch back.

From IE to Avant to MyIE2 to Firefox to Opera. I won't go back to firefox.

Its slower to start up and render pages on my computer.

Extensions annoy me, I'd rather download something and have what I need out of the box than having to install extensions.

Constant crashes.

opera is faster, more secure and has more settings

only reason for someone to use firefox is if ure a teen who want to adblock everything instead of giving the webmaster money so he can pay his bandwidth
