Alex Suraci
For those of you who have tried and disliked Opera 7.54, I suggest you try Opera 8. It's loads faster than opera 7 AND Firefox, and it's easy to import your bookmarks between Opera and Firefox (Export from Firefox, import in Opera as Netscape). I tried it two days ago and have been using it ever since with no problems. Also it supports user CSS (Opera/styles/user), and has mail implemented into the browser. :) So yeah, I switched. Sensayshun
Can anyone tell me how to change the language in Opera? I'm using it now as I tried to update firefox, it told me I didn't have enough room and now it won't let me start it up again. I've just downloaded opera but it's in german and although I can understand german quite well and I've found the language part I can't get it to change language :( . STNG
I switched from IE to Opera many years ago. I tried FireFox and i decide: 1. FireFox absolutely not usable without extension by default. 2. FireFox is bloated. FireFox Interface works very very slowly. Most of extension is bugware with many errors and conflicts because it's still alpha versions. Also Firefox eat very lot of memory. 3. FireFox have terrible interface with bad customizing features. 4. FireFox don't have many of Opera's special features like: good cache, M2 mail client, full-working RSS-Reader, MDI-interface, rich interface customization, rich keyboard shortcuts settings, Fit to window width, Rendering Modes, Voice support, Mobile platform support, etc. etc. etc. All of its IMHO. I'll stick with OPERA.

Lovell
Out of curiosity but the people who have Firefox and tried Opera did you try Opera for a few days? because it sounds like most of you just installed it used it for an hour then uninstalled  Tryed Firefox then Opera stayed with Opera was sick of downloading plugins for Firefox

The-Wyyl
No. I tried it for a minuter or so surfing various pages. And then I saw an ad! I haven't seen one in so long. So I said so long to Opera. Firefox has everything I need and then some.

Phemo
I'm still undecided - at present I am a Firefox user. I had Opera installed, used it for an hour or two then uninstalled it. A little while later I decided to reinstall it and spend some time customising it (default setup is horrific in my opinion) and I've actually grown to quite like it. I'm still unsure, but I'm not ruling out the possibility of it becoming my main browser.
AudioDope
what u guys on about, i switched from firefox to opera, opera owns! its way faster, it loads pages even faster, (yes i might sound like a n00b.. theyarecomingforyou
I have used Opera before and tried out version 8, but Firefox is more suited to my browsing habbits.
kernatch
still using firefox. opera 8 won't let me open links in a new tab with middle button. and just little things like the tab's being too tall, the tab toolbar being above the address bar (don't think you can change this?). doesn't have things like gmail notifer and adblock etc. plus i don't notice it being any faster.
