dreamz Veteran Posted April 28, 2005 Veteran Share Posted April 28, 2005 isn't the address bar a bitmap (combobox)? firefox might skin its window independently, so i'll move it here and see what the geckoheads think. :) thread moved
Winswy
well, no... the window color defines address box bg color in IE.. sure wish someone would post a list of Firefox bugs and where to remedy thyem in the VS for those of use that don't use it but want to make sure that the style is bug free for all users. matt0
Yeah, I had the same problem, I forget what exactly, but it's some value you wouldn't ever think to look for. One of the 3d box colours or something retarded like that.
Winswy
ok, i figured out the address bar...it is controlled by General > Edit > Fill Color... Now if some one knows where the Firefox Tab text color is controlled i would appreciate it.

matt0
That's what I'm talking about, I just jacked that image from my antimatter release. Explorer tabs are defined in the VS (as you know) firefox draws from 3d objects text colour. The pointers and **** were to show people how to get there/

Winswy
Bumpity bump ... so.. ive been told that the font in these areas in Firefox is hard coded Black.. anyone know if THIS is the case?
matt0
Jeez man. It's not hard-coded. I applied antimatter and then went to advanced appearances and changed the following text colours to white: 3d Objects Message Box Tooltip What applies to what, no clue. Before i did that, it looked alot like yours.
