trance
Yes, add to the fact that if it were legalized as alcohol and cigs, the gov't could tax it and make some money, instead of giving it to the dealers, and the quality would be regulated... oh wait, that won't work cause you can grow it yourself. It is a simple plant people. You should be able to grow it and smoke it, just not sell it. If you want some, grow it yourself. And no, I have never done pot before, I just think we should control our own lives. The gov't should not have that kind of say as to what I do or do not do in my house. Gowcra
Wow guys, step back from your pcs and think about it. I'm all for it being legal. BUT the TAX on it would be bleedin' huge. But yes, im prepared for teh stuff to go legal.

Sub
Mark my words, it will never be legalized in the US. I smoke everyday, but it will never be legalized 100%. Theres just too much that will happen, and it will be out of control... Imagine coming to Florida, but instead of Palm Trees, we have large amounts of canabis.. I'l love it, but it aint going to happen.

y0sh
Why does it matter? If people think that it makes them cool, so be it. Go smoke. You're never going to get anywhere in life anyway. So what's the problem? Also.. just grow it at home. Who's going to know? I think that should be legal.. doing stuff at home.
Nebula2020
I think this could depend on age. Ask me when I was a youth and I would have agreed with all the Yes votes. Ask me now with two young children and many years of substance abuse behind me, then a no
Miuku.
No. Instead, we should have even stricter laws.

James Rose
For the record, yes I injest Marijuana. I did not use drugs when I was a kid (didnt start until I was 28) nor do I believe that children or kids should use drugs of any kind. Be a kid when you have the chance, there is not any reason that I can state for growing up too soon. Now, with that said. It should be known that US Census records show that not a single person in the history of the USA has ever died from an overdose. Yet everyday people die from overdoses of alcohol. Does that mean I believe alcohol should be illegal? No. I believe that goverments have no right to regulate what a person does to their own mind and body. Period. The standard argument against illegal drugs tends to be about what happens when the person gets behind the wheel. And this is an area that I agree with, however, my issue here is that a person need to be responsable for their actions, reguardless of their state of mind. Whether I drive erratically becuase I am in some form of altered state or just becuase I am a bad driver is not the real point. The real point is that I drove badly and therefor should be punished by the criminal or civil systems. Again, this is an issue about what a person does with their own mind and body. And no matter what choices you make, I hope that you will do the research and be careful. Sincerely, James Rose
