wasabi
Ok - i have some friends whom id like to upgrade to Firefox. They are abroad so its only email correspondance. and trying to explain them all the settings / extensions etc etc seems too complicated for them. Is there any way to send them a finished Full package, settings set(position of adressbar, search, buttons), extensions(adblock+definitions),userchrome tweaks etc ready - that they either simply click a batch file, or copy certain folders so it is set how i think they would like it? A simple ready fully adjusted firefox?

wasabi
Firemongerhttp://firemonger.org/en/ 585873665[/snapback] Yes excellent thankyou (didn't know about that) However firemonger still requiires you to install and set the settings I am also capable of giving a folder filled with everything. I hoped for something where you could simply grab my "profiles" and settind" and dump them on an other machine and voila its set. A little like portable firefox. I can only find zip builds for 1.0, but every sub-release only contains exe installers. I hate having to install with exes and would much rather just unzip the thing. Intelligen
Maybe have them installl firefox, then create a profile on your PC with all the extensions and everything they want, then use backupFox and send that to them and have them restore the backup... No more zips for releases because people kepy unzipping over installs and mucking things up.

trigger_my_passion
Can anyone test this for me? I installed about 37 extensions and customized keyboard shortcuts of Portable Firefox. Download this rar file, extract it, simply run PortableFirefox.exe and tell me if it opens up or not. 7 MB file. Thanks.
