Hypoxiaicon
Really? Set it to block all Pop-ups (High)? I think default is Medium. If that doesnt stop atleast 90% then I think you have adware/spyware.
bangbang023 Veteran Posted May 5, 2005 Veteran Share Posted May 5, 2005 been there...done that... didn't work 585874374[/snapback] if you set it to high, as posted by hypoxiaicon, it should work fine. Of course, you could just stop going to shady porn sites but hey, to each their own.

b0m8er
I don't know what sites you're visiting but IE's popup blocker does its job for me. Didn't see any popus since SP2 was released :D
Ruciz
Simple solution. One word. Format. Seriously, if you're getting all that from IE I don't suggest you use your computer for any personal information because its definatly not anymore. Popups are almost impossible to remove from windows, so backup some info to some CD/DVDs and reinstall that WinXP, get service pack 2 and some antivirus after reboot (recommend getting SP2 to install before going online - like before you format and save it on CD) and you will be fine. Don't use IE for too much though and install adware and spybot. adware picks up IE bugs and spybot picks up firefox bugs. AV stops all the trojans, malware, viruses and troublesome emails. other than that get some better pr0n sites like google images, or elephantlist. :)

se7en.hu
Well in my eyes IE is only good for one thing and it is the best at it, that is downloading Opera. I tell you no other browser could download Opera as well as IE (Y)
