kombolcha
this happened near where i work at.. http://cbs2.com/california/CA--TeensKilled...urces_news_html GLENDORA, Calif. (AP) Two 15-year-old boys riding in a car trunk were killed Wednesday when the vehicle crashed into a tree, police said.A 17-year-old boy who did not have a driver's license was behind the wheel of a Mazda Protege carrying four passengers when he pulled over to pick up the 15-year-olds, police Sgt. Tim Staab said. There was no room inside so the boys got into the trunk, he said. About 3 p.m., the driver lost control of the car on Route 66 and spun out, hit the center median and crashed into a tree, Staab said. The 15-year-olds, whose names were not immediately released, were hurled from the locked trunk and were struck by an oncoming van, Staab said. ``The van driver had no time to avoid them,'' he said. One boy died at about 4:20 p.m. at a hospital and the other died about three hours later, he said. The passengers in the car had minor injuries, Staab said. Glendora is 33 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. the tv report said the other passengers were the boys family memebers, his parents gave him permission to drive, even though he doesn't have a license or a permit. noping
The fault is not of the 17 years old, Any 17 year old would like to drive. The fault is not of the 15 year old, Any 15 year old would like go for a ride with friends, even in trunk. The fault is not of the van driver, he was driving along, and all of a sudden two teen bodies fly infront of him. The fualt is OF THE PARENTS, what ****Head parent would let a 17 yearld drive with no licensse with other teens.?? ( I can understand if he was going to work by HIMSELF) but drive around for fun with other teens? Too many Uneducated ****Head Parents, that want to be cool to their kids, Instead of Guardians... Being cool is overrated you ****Heads, be better Parents!

joshpo
The parents are definitely in hot water, but the kid driving is the one at fault. Having a drivers license isn't some magical thing, its not as if it gives you driving wisdom and skill. It's a piece of plastic and all you have to do to get one is park between some cones. If the kid did have a license it wouldn't make a difference, he still allowed 2 friends to ride in the trunk.

allanp
The comment about american's wasn't necessary. Stereotyping them as being slow or stupid just degrades your own intellegince level. 585876473[/snapback] Haha, that's the funniest thing I've heard all day! Viper7977
WTF people. This is just the process of Natural Selection doing it's job. Stupid people / living things don't last long, because they do stupid / dangerous things that a smarter person / living thing knows not to do because only a freekin idiot would do something that stupid! Just like if a young monkey is always swinging in the tops of trees, where the fall is the farthest and the branches the weakest, his chances of survival decrease by a considerable margin. But what I want to know is why the hell the monkey parents weren't telling their stupid monkey offspring to knock that **** off. Those dumb *** monkey parents were probably too busy shopping for useless monkey antiques on ebay, at the bar watch monkey gymnastics, or at home smoking their favorite monkey weed! It's really sad because if there was just 1 person with some common sense in this crazy story eveyone is still alive. Parents, Driver, Car Pssengers, Trunk Passengers..... ksalls
Such an unfortunate event... for all involved. I can remember only 5 months ago, putting one of my friends in the trunk cause we had no room. that will never happen again. My thoughts and prayers to the family of those boys. And for the van driver, uderstand that there was nothing you could have done, its not your fault... Youll find peace in time
