tunafish
Salt Lake City, UT ? A new study reveals that girls as young as 3 are equipped with skills such as social manipulation and peer pressure to get what they want. The study showed that girls can be highly manipulative and subversive to get what they want. The particularly mean girls are strongly liked by some, hated by others, but feared and respected by most. Boys are much less likely to behave in this way. It was also shown that social hierarchy exists even in pre-school. Children whose parents used psychological control and manipulation as methods of discipline were more likely to be in the 17-20% or so who are considered ?mean.? betasp
If you're a guy, you know there is always someone out there that might kick your arse of you act like a jerk. You walk the fine line of being a jerk to those that allow you to get away with it. If you are a girl, you arse is less likely to get kicked, so you can be mean all the time. Just my thoughts, though.

Aaron Veteran Posted May 9, 2005 Veteran Share Posted May 9, 2005 I thought this was already pretty well known, but to see that they measured it back to as young as 3 is pretty interesting. As an additionl tidbit of info, it has also been shown that the type of bullying girls most often engage in has far more long lasting negative effects than the typical male bullying (i.e., emotional v. physical). Toastyone
Heard this on the radio this morning and I am not really surprised...Now this might not be true for all girls but if a guy does not like you it is made known that you don?t like him most of the time?.For girls it is like they pretend to be your friend till they can stab you in the back where it will hurt the most? That?s what I have come to believe
AxelStone
Not surprising, just establishes why women are intrested in me but rarely date me. If you dont fall for what they want you dont get'em. It so hard finding a nice one without any dating service or being desperate. :(
