Jay C
Firefox version : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3 OS : Windows XP Home SP2 Extensions : Adblock v .5 d2 nightly 39 ; Auto Copy 0.5.4 ; Image Zoom 0.1.7 ; fireFTP 0.88 ; ieview 0.87 ; GooglePreview 0.9 ; SmoothWheel 0.43.1.20041107 ; FirefoxView 0.31.1 ; DragToTab 0.1.2 ; Download Manager Tweak 0.6.5 . Problem, I installed Download Accelerator Plus for use with firefox a while back, simmply because I came across a site which needed me to use some sort of download manager to download some files from it. Now, I've uninstalled DAP but firefox still seems tyo be looking to open DAP in order to download files, and obviously it fails because its not there. How can I stop firefox from looking for Download Accelerator Plus, and get it back to using just its normal built in download manager?

toadeater
Check if there are any dap dlls leftover in the Firefox directory. That's about all I can think of other than going over your prefs.js and deleting anything referring to DAP. Type about:config in the address bar. Then in the filter at the top, type "dap". Delete anything references to DAP.
